May 2008, Gex Service – Port Call Cancellation / New Call


Please be advised that CCNI is cancelling - as of June 2008 - direct port calls at Puerto Limón/Costa Rica, for its Gulf Express Service (GEX), due to this port’s increasing draft limitations.

The last vessel calling Puerto Limón will be MV CSAV Venezuela-819 ETA June 06, 2008. After mentioned vessel, all related quotations and bookings to/from Costa Rica will be blocked in Compass.

Taking advantage of the free time gained, the GEX service will start direct calls at Santo Tomás de Castilla (Guatemala). The first vessel calling this port, will be MV CCNI Veracruz-820, with the following port rotation:

- Houston
- Altamira
- Veracruz
- Santo Tomás de Castilla
- Puerto Cortés
- Cartagena
- Puerto Cabello
- San Juan
- Rio Haina
